My Review:

I really enjoyed this classic regency romance. Ms. Vandagriff is a talented writer and it shows in this sweet romance, with a little mystery thrown in for excitement. Beau is a classic hero. He is strong and full of chivalry. In fact, his chivalry is what starts the whole story going. Penolope must mary inorder to save her family’s estate. I loved the dialogue between the characters and how they interacted with each other. This is a fun and interesting story. I love a romance with a little mystery mixed in. The supporting characters were well written and provided much entertainment. Penelope is a strong, but feminine lead. She does what she must and ultimately make the best choice. I loved the book all the way through. It is definetly a must read. Clean and well written.

Review:

This was one of the best books I’ve read by Rachael Anderson! (of course all her books are the best). This one is especially good, because I love Regency. This is classic regency as we have a sweet, sometimes rude, but redeemable hero in Lord Drayson. Our heroine is also sweet, but stubborn and sometimes naive. Just a great combination.

Lucy is lovable and completely stubborn and she is also in trouble because the Earl is kicking her out and her mother from their home so he can sell it. Lord Drayson is certainly in for a surprise when he tries to evict her. When Colin (Lord Drayson) falls and hits his head and the ladies of the  house must care for him, Lucy takes advantage and then the antics begin. Lies, lies and more lies confuse the happy couple. Of course, no one means to lie, but they just need to fix things, so more confusion results. As they begin to fall in love, Lucy tries to tell Colin but he refuses to listen. This is a fun and sweet romance, full of chivalry and all that. You will not be disappointed when you read this book. If you love regency, then you will certainly enjoy this book.

You will enjoy reading anything by Racheal Anderson. I'm looking forward to reading other books in this series.
